Responsibilities and Activities

  • Appoint the Civil Service Director

  • Adopt and amend rules and regulations for the Mobile Civil Service System
  • Adopt and amend Classification and Compensation plans for the Classified Service
  • Conduct hearings and render decisions on charges preferred against persons in the Classified Service
  • Represent the public interest in the improvement of personnel administration of the Classified Service
