Applicants for clerical/secretarial positions must have a passing score on typing exams given by the Mobile County Personnel Board before submitting an application. Typing exams are administered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on a "first-come, first-served" basis. One typing exam per calendar month is allowed. The Mobile County Personnel Board office is located at 1809 Government Street, Mobile, AL 36606.
