NOTICE REGARDING COPIES OF DOCUMENTS: Applicants, for OPEN COMPETITIVE positions, are advised that when submitting an application for more than one position, it is necessary to complete a separate application packet for each position including supporting documentation. Supporting documents may include, but are not limited to, transcripts, certificates, and DD214 forms.

  • The Mobile County Personnel Board accepts applications only for those positions currently being advertised.

  • Positions advertised as Open Continuous may close at any time without notification.

    Applicants for clerical/secretarial positions must have a passing score on typing exams given by Mobile County Personnel Board before submitting an application. The Quarterly Typing Test Calendar lists the dates and times for the exams. An applicant is allowed to take one typing exam per calendar month. Applicants are tested on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
